Adult Choir Information

Director:  Robbin Kuder

The Northwoods Adult Choir is the foundation of our worship ministry at Northwoods Baptist Church.  They provide worship leadership, excitement, and energy with their special music and presence on the platform.  The Adult Choir is a non-audition group that practices in the JoyDome Choir Room on Wednesday from 7:45-9:00 PM (child care provided), and sings in our weekend services.

The Adult Choir usually presents two musical programs each year including an Easter musical and a praise and worship musical in the fall.  All soloists and ensembles are selected from the Adult Choir, but you need not be a soloist to sing in the choir.  Requirements for membership include a love and commitment to the Lord, a love for singing, and the ability to be faithful to practices and services.  Music reading skills are helpful but not required.

Student Choir Information

Director:  Robbin Kuder

The Northwoods Middle School and combined High School/College Choirs meet on Sundays during the school year in the JoyDome Choir room from 4:00-5:00 PM. They frequently sing for our weekend services as well as participating in several large projects throughout the year including a Christmas musical, Associational Youth Choir musical, and summer choir tour.  Both Choirs are non-audition groups. Middle School Choir is open to students 6th-8th grade and High School/College Choir is open to students 9th grade through undergraduate.  The key ingredient to our successful Student Choir ministry is FAITHFULNESS.

Children's Choir Information

The Children’s Choir program is staffed with a team of dedicated, loving leaders who will help your child develop and enjoy the music that is already within them and use it to worship God.  Besides weekly Wednesday fun with music during the school year, the older choirs learn and present a musical or two, and are usually included in our annual Easter program.

Orchestra Information

The Northwoods orchestra provides many opportunities to use God-given instrumental talents as we worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our primary purpose is to enhance and support the worship team by accompanying the choir and praise team as they lead in worship. The orchestra also performs offertories and preludes, and is an integral part of our biannual musicals. Additionally, there are many opportunities for solo and/or ensemble playing.

If you love the Lord, love playing your instrument, and can be faithful to practices and services, come to the Multi-Purpose Room (in the Education Building) at 7:45 PM on Wednesdays. A high school level of playing ability is preferred, but younger students are welcome to audition.
