Baptism

Baptism has always been an important part of spiritual growth. In Matthew 28 Jesus tells his disciples what they should be doing after Jesus ascends into Heaven,

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, and surely I am with you always to the very end of the age”.

The pattern Jesus set was to first become disciples then be baptized, and then learn to become obedient.

What about you?

Have you taken this important step in your walk with Christ? There are many people who have been Christians for some time but have never been baptized. There are others who have been Christians for a relatively short time but have never had a chance to discover for themselves the importance of baptism in their faith journey.

Malachi 3:10

(Amplified Bible): "Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
